Hi!
I ordered this item from Spain, and after only two days I had the UPS man knocking in my door with the device!. Awesome!
The only thing I had to get before getting the device running was a USA to Spain plug adaptor, as there was no european adaptor in the box (it is not a downside, I am just warning any non-US potential buyer)
I use this HP wireless Tv connect to stream freeview HD broacast to my HdTV. In my setup it is simply impossible to run an antenna wire to the TV, so till now the only way that I had to watch TV was using an extremely long RCA wire that carried composite video signal: that meant very bad quality and of course no HDTV at all.
Former solutions that I had tested did never work: a lot of interferences (just by plugging my microwave, or walking in front of the emitter, or switching on some lights...).
When I connected this device, I was simply shocked by the quality and the stability of the image. I moved around the room, and no image downgrade. I switched every electrical device that potentially could cause any interference, and still the image was brilliant and withount glitches, just as a connected HDMI cable. Same good performance while speaking with my mobile, or using my wireless connection with my laptop.
I must say that the distance from the emitter and the receiver is not too long (about 10 feet - 3 meters). They are not in direct line of sight.
I am very satisfied with the product. The only not positive comment is that the device is always "on", that is, you cannot switch it off unless to unplug it.
